Sharing photos and genealogy is a joy. When more of the family can see the pictures that we take of ourselves, our spouses, our children and other family members, they feel closer.

This project is dedicated to those who are dedicated to their families, who desire to feel closer to them everyday. This site is dedicated to my immediate family, my husband and my new family that I have been blessed with through my marriage. It is especailly dedicated to those who have gone before each of us, who have a desire to be remembered and understood.

Genealogy is a special part of getting to know one's family. Knowing where we came from is an important part in knowing where we are going. Maybe we can learn through a journal written by a great-great-grandfather, maybe we can learn stories about our great-grandmothers that can bring us strength and courage for our own future.

Seeing the faces of our ancestors helps us to know them beyond a name. That isn't always possible, but there are other ways to get to know them too. Finding out where they lived and visiting their hometown may help us to know how they lived. Learning about their occupation on a census helps us to understand the kind of life they lived.

I hope that sharing my excitement with genealogy and family history may excite others and get them interested in knowing their ancestors.
